The Sensory Room
A sensory room or multi-sensory
room is extremely therapeutic for both children and adults, people with
sensory processing disorders (from mild to severe) and people with no
sensory processing disorders.These rooms come in many different
formats, it is the general term for a relaxing or stimulating space
away from everyday life. An area that is fascinating to the user and a
place they will definitely look forward to using.
Small Saints is lucky enough to have one. Ours includes: bubble tube,
fibre optic lights, projector, pinspot wheel, tactile panel, bubble
mirrors, mirror ball and comfortable foam flooring.
